Byklart is an independent design studio in Helsinki, run by Kristjan.
For nearly ten years, I designed websites and digital products for larger companies, working across agency and in-house teams. In 2026, I went independent and built Byklart for the clients I actually want to work with: small businesses, local services, and owner-run companies who need design that takes them seriously.
Why Byklart exists
A lot of small businesses are stuck between two bad options. Cheap website builders and rushed templates can get you online, but they often look generic or unfinished. Traditional agencies do good work, but the process is slow, expensive, and built for bigger companies.
Byklart exists to offer something more practical: sharp design, clear words, fast delivery, and honest pricing for businesses that simply need to look better online.
Hospitality perspective
Kristjan also has a professional background in hospitality. That experience brings a practical understanding of how restaurants and cafés actually operate: menus, opening hours, bookings, changing offers and the need to make a strong first impression quickly.
